As of 30 April 2025, it was reported that the company had bought back and cancelled a staggering 232,349,998 ordinary shares. This update comes after the company commenced its Share Buyback Programme back in February 2022, indicating a strategic move to potentially uplift the share price. The total issued share capital of the company, and its total amount of voting rights, is made up of 1,315,584,665 ordinary shares at each 0.1 pence. No shares are held in the company’s Treasury.

Another formidable player, Legal & General Group Plc, also announced their successful execution of a share buyback programme on 1st May 2025.
