GraniteShares Announces Consolidation of ETP Securities Involving Rolls-Royce and Barclays
In an unprecedented market move, GraniteShares Financial PLC, the market-beloved issuer, has announced decidedly bold plans to consolidate all their Exchange Traded Product (ETP) Securities related to Rolls-Royce and Barclays.
The announcement came in the form of an official document, the gravity of which is not to be underestimated. It stresses the need for devoted attention from its recipients, the holders of the ETP Securities in question. The document gives notice to the securities’ holders under Condition 20(b) Notices that aligns with Condition 19’s Consolidation and Division of ETP Securities.
The intended consolidation of securities will lead to the birth of new ETP Securities with a proportionally larger minimum consolidation amount and value per ETP Security. Once in effect, this operation promises to reshape the landscape, offering a renewed vision of ETP Securities.
Not unlike the ripples caused by tossing a stone into still waters, the intended consolidation is destined to bring consequential shifts. Notably, the original ISINs will morph into new ones, marking the birth of the consolidated Securities.
The Record Date is set for 06 June 2025, with the trading of the consolidated securities set to commence shortly after, on 09 June 2025. Extra care will be taken to redeem any fractional ETP Security that may result from the heated activity of consolidation. The redemption rate will be the greater of the value per ETP, as determined on the Record Date, and the minimum redemption amount.
Such radical reshaping breathes new life into the finance domain and promises exciting times ahead for those intrigued by ETP Securities. While the markets lie in anticipation of this unfolding story, the watchful gaze of potential securityholders is sure to remain fixed on the changes to come.
