Meteoritic Expansion for Alien Metals, Hancock Soars with Additional Exploration Leases
Alien Metals Ltd, a mineral exploration, and development firm, provides an update that adds layers to its lustrous Hancock Iron Ore Project in Newman, Western Australia. With the latest successful granting of two new Exploration Leases, the Company’s exploration area balloons by more than 50%, increasing from 41.0 km2 to 63.0km2.
Exploration Leases E47/5157 and E47/5158 have been honoured without any Native Title objections, further invigorating this development. These new leases are adjacent to the existing Mining and Exploration Leases at the Hancock Iron Ore Project, effectively increasing the project’s potential.
Alien Metals has optimistically announced its plans to mobilise a team of geologists to further discover the potential of these new leases. Investigations will be conducted using a rock chip sampling and assay programme. Observers are interested in these developments, eagerly waiting for the next phase to see what valuable secrets these new territories hold.
Alien Metals is also engaging with BHP Group Limited to finalise an Access Deed for the issuance of E47/5159 in the coming periods, which will further solidify the Company’s interests. The Access Deed is critical in further consolidating the company’s assets and enabling the expansion of exploration and development activities across its expanded tenement portfolio.
The Company continues to focus on developing a profitable operation from its Hancock Iron Ore Project based in Western Australia’s central Pilbara region. This area is no stranger to iron ore, exporter of over 500Mt annually, a staggering 30% of global production. With direct access to the Great Northern Highway, the Hancock Project is all set to continue contributing to this impressive figure.
