Global Sports Betting and Gaming Giant, Entain, Celebrates a String of Victories in 2025 AGM

Entain plc, a titan in the global sports betting and gaming group, has lauded the success of its 2025 Annual General Meeting, conducted recently. The congregation saw to it that all resolutions, suggested in the Company’s notice of AGM earlier in March, stood strong with majority approval.

Servicing the formalities, the first order of business was to receive and approve the Company’s annual report and audited accounts for the year culminating on 31st December 2024. The motion, securing a commanding 99.73% votes for, was passed with ease.

Coming up next was the Directors’ remuneration report for the recently concluded year. With a show of 97.43% approval, the report was sanctioned without any hurdles.

The spotlight of the meeting was the re-election of the Company’s directors. The likes of Pierre Bouchut, Stella David, Amanda Brown, Virginia McDowell, Ricky Sandler, David Satz, Rahul Welde, and Rob Wood were all re-elected to the board, receiving backing in the upper 90s, percentage-wise. Additionally, Helen Ashton was also elected as a new director.

The fortitude of the board was further demonstrated with the authorization for the directors to allot the Company’s shares was also in favour.
